Jalapeņo Popper Deviled Eggs
Jalapeņo Popper Deviled Eggs

Yield: 12 servings


6 hard boiled eggs, peeled
2 Tbsp mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
3 Tbsp cream cheese, whipped
3 Tbsp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
¼ C jalapeņos (pickled, fresh or roasted), diced finely
¼ C bacon, cooked and crumbled finely
Salt & Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Cut eggs in half, scoop the yolks out and mash them.
  2. Mix the yolks with mayonnaise, cream cheese, ½ the cheddar, jalapeņos and bacon and place a tablespoon of the mixture into the holes in the egg whites.
  3. Sprinkle on remaining cheddar, place on a baking sheet and broil until the cheese has melted.
  • Option: Instead of topping them with melted cheddar, top them with panko breadcrumbs and broil until lightly golden brown for a crispy topping!
  • Option: Add chopped black olives and onions to the mixture.
  • Option: Omit the bacon for vegetarian version.
