Yield: for 1 cake


½ C butter (room temperature)
1 8-oz pkg cream cheese (room temperature)
1 16-oz pkg confectioner's sugar
2 tsp orange zest

1 tsp vanilla or almond extract

  1. Beat butter and cream cheese together in a large mixing bowl until light.
  2. Add confectioner's sugar, orange zest, vanilla, mixing well.
Tip: To frost a cake without messing up the plate, place long strips of wax paper on the plate to the edge. Frost the cake. Pull out the wax paper and discard.
