Sesame Citrus SaucePaula Deen
Yield: 4 servings
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice + a splash
3 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp sesame seeds, + extra for garnish
2 Tbsp fresh orange juice
1 tsp sesame oil
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Add sesame seeds and cook, stirring 2 - 3 minutes over moderate heat, until lightly browned.
- Add lemon juice and orange juice.
- Drizzle with sesame oil.
- Whisk to make sure it's fully emulsified.
- Add salt, to taste.
- Add cooked asparagus if using this way. Toss until coated. Garnish with extra sesame seeds and serve hot.
