Herb Rub

Yield: 2 Tablespoons

Ingredients

1¼ Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp Kosher salt
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp ground cayenne pepper
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp dried thyme
(Adjust quantities of rub to taste)
Optional:
2 Tbsp EVOO (olive oil) to make a paste.

Instructions

  1. Combine herbs and spices in a jar. Cover and shake to combine well.
  2. Transfer into a gallon plastic zipper bag. Rub olive oil into the roast and put it in the bag with the rub. Shake and turn the bag until the meat is covered with the rub on all sides. Massage the rub into the meat.
